For this sustainable bestseller we have upcycled several vintage saris and redesigned them into a modern style with nordic cuts and silhouettes. The dress has wide, butterfly sleeves, which creates a relaxed and bohemian look. The silhouette is loose, but the layered gathering at the waist brings shape to the dress. This one of a kind dress is ideal to wear in the day as well as at night.

All SISSEL EDELBO styles are being upcycled of vintage sari and in that way sustainable. In the past, these saris has been worn by the Indian women, which means that smaller imperfections such as small stains and loose threads can occur. However, to us these imperfections are the clothes' unique beauty flaws. They reflect the life and the love that the previous owner has added to the fabric.
